Cookie Policy
This policy explains how MIDAS Business Ecosystem uses cookies and similar technologies, in line with the EU ePrivacy rules and Spanish LSSI-CE.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences (such as login or language) and help us understand how the Platform is used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the Platform to work (authentication, session, security, load balancing). These do not require consent.
- Functional — remember preferences such as language and interface settings.
- Analytics — help us measure usage and improve the Platform. Set only with your consent, where required.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Cookies we set
| Cookie / storage | Purpose | Category | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase auth token | Keeps you signed in securely | Necessary | Session / up to 1 year |
| Language preference | Remembers your chosen language | Functional | Up to 1 year |
| Stripe (__stripe_*) | Payment processing & fraud prevention at checkout | Necessary | Session / up to 1 year |
| Analytics (if enabled) | Aggregated usage statistics | Analytics (consent) | Up to 2 years |
4. Your choices & consent
On first visit you can accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Platform (such as staying logged in) from working.
- Most browsers let you manage cookies under Settings → Privacy.
- You can withdraw analytics consent at any time; this does not affect essential cookies.
5. Third parties
Some cookies are set by providers that help us run the Platform, in particular Stripe (payments) and Supabase (authentication). Their use of data is described in their own privacy policies; see also our Privacy Policy.
6. Changes & contact
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date reflects the current version. Questions: support@midasbusiness.net.
